A ShopBop Spring shoe wishlist. « Corks and
,Green Leather Riding Boots « Ritz Brits
1.?Tory Burch Miller thongs, $195. — I’m not usually a Tory B. girl, but this pop of color would look great peeking out from under maxi dresses this spring. Or I could spray paint my Rainbows.
2.?Elizabeth and James Charm Wood Platform, $350. — These are beyond sexy. The perfect pairing to flowing caftans, bell bottom jeans, and tiny cut-offs. E+J has gotten 100 times better since their first seasons of shoes.
3. Joie Crimson & Clover sandals, $208.?— I’m always looking for flat sandals with personality that don’t leave me thinking,Silk Head Scarves Make A Luxurious Statement, “Shoulda just worn heels.” These make me want to run through a flowering meadow!
4. Hunter Festival Tall Boots, $225. — Kate Moss would approve. With Spring showers and bicycle commutes, hunter boots, these would keep me dry,Hunter « orGLAMic, keep my feet planted firmly on the pedals, and add edge to my closet full of white sundresses.
5. Bensimon Elastique Tennis Flats, $57. — If you read this Q&A I did for Taylor, you’d be familiar with my Bum Bar Rule. Sometimes you need some kicks that you can just as easily tuck up under you bum on a sticky restaurant booth as can carry you deftly on slippery surfaces of a salty boat. These have that French girl cool that my exchange student worked with femininity and ease.
6.?Elizabeth and James Greta Woven Platform, $425. — My current dream shoe. The Never-Take-Them-Off shoe. They look vintage but have this incredibly sexy abbreviated platform that reeks of that MKO/granny sex appeal.
7. Joie Rock Steady Fringe Suede Booties, $345. — My more impractical dream shoe. I’ve been justifying, then talking myself out of these for months. They’re the pièce de résistance that could make me fall back in love with all those ladylike pencil skirts and bombshell blouses of my not-so-distant corporate past.
Happy Spring shopping!
